A MORNING PRAYER
Father in Heaven,
Thank You for giving me this new day you have made. Please help me to begin this day by entering your gates with thanksgiving, your courts with praise, and to bless Your Name. (Psalm 100:4) You have promised in Your Word in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Your lovingkindness never cease, and Your compassion never fails, but are new every morning."
I commit this day to You. Help me to keep You uppermost in my thoughts, and help me to magnify and glorify Your great name in all that I do and say.
I pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen!

AN EVENING PRAYER
My Father, In Heaven,
I praise and magnify your holy name for keeping me in Your Love and care throughout the day. As I prepare for this night, I pray that even as I sleep, my mind will review and think upon Your goodness. Your Son Jesus died in my place on the cross, and I rejoice in having received Him into my heart as my Savior, and I confess, "Jesus is My Lord!"
Thank You, Father, for the many ways You have shown Your favor and compassion to me all day long, even at times when I may not have been aware of Your provision and Your protection.
I praise You for the wonderful promise of Scripture in Psalm 121:3-4, "He who keeps me . . . will neither slumber nor sleep." Thank you for being ever watchful over me, even in the deepest part of the night.
I pray this in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen!
